Established in 1982 Allied Nippon is a global leader in the production of friction products for passenger and light commercial vehicles.  Supplying a plethora of OE, private label and aftermarket clients with world-class brake pads and discs, the brand has a proven track record for delivering quality, performance and reliability.

Utilising a wealth of experience gained from working with premium OE clients, Allied Nippon’s comprehensive range of high-quality, ECE R90 approved, aftermarket brake pads spans an impressive 95% of the European, Japanese and Korean car parc.

Precisely crafted from premium raw materials, in the brands own state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, all Allied Nippon brake pads are subjected to a stringent testing regime, far exceeding what is required by law.  Dr Keith Ellis, Director of Braking Product Development for the brand, explains in more detail:

“All Allied Nippon brake pads are ‘E’ certified under the ECE R90 regulation which is the EU directive governing brake pad design, construction and performance.  Compliance is vital for all credible braking brands, but for many, this is where testing stops.

For Allied Nippon however, testing goes far beyond the minimum requirements of R90, in our pursuit of excellence we undertake a more extensive testing programme which includes hot-shear testing at 300°C; wear testing, which examines durability across a range of temperatures up to 500°C; and noise testing at a variety of speeds and pressures.

None of these tests are required under R90 legislation, but they are vital to guaranteeing the quality of the Allied Nippon pad.”

Backed by 30 years of experience Allied Nippon is committed to supplying world-class braking, genuine value for money and excellent market coverage to its many of customers in Europe and around the globe.
